We worked with Michael O’Mara Books to produce a series of four micro-animations to publicise a new children’s book. The animations were released on social media in the month before publication, driving pre-sales and linking to International Youth Day and World Humanitarian Day.

Figuration’s contribution included:

• Editing concise micro-story from full text

• Re-formatting & animating illustrations by Amy Blackwell

• Formatting for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter feeds

• Additional vertical format for Instagram & Facebook stories

• Fast, cost-effective process: each animation took less than a day to produce, review and revise
