2-day course from Tuesday 22 to Wednesday 23 October
10am to 1pm each day
for 8-14 year olds
In this 2-day course, learn to animate using just paper, charcoal, your trusty smartphone and a little imagination.
Did you know that animation started out as a series of drawn or painted images photographed in sequence? Now, in the 21st century, popular animation is often computer-generated imagery (CGI), but in this workshop you will use more traditional drawing techniques to create you're own animated micro-short.
Whether you want to tell a story or simply make images move, in this workshop the movable, smudge-able medium of charcoal will enable you to create something special, unique, and all about you.
Bring your imagination. Perhaps bring an object or two that will inspire you. All other materials are provided.
