Led by Figuration’s own Leo Crane and hosted by Sotheby’s Institute of Art, this creative leadership boot camp will immerse a small group of participants in the art world’s entrepreneurial blend of culture, commerce and social impact.
Through online seminars, group work and private study, participants will examine topics from purpose and vision to fundraising and management, confronting critical issues including the value of diversity and how to adapt in a post-Covid world. By the end of the course, participants will have been introduced to a range of creative leaders, investigated a topic of personal interest, and reflected on their own leadership style, practice and potential.
Guest Speakers are drawn from Figuration’s wide network of inspirational creative professionals, including:
Stella Duffy CBE (Co-Director, Fun Palaces)
Sabra Williams BEM (Founder, Creative Acts)
Flora Craig (Head of Grants, Garfield Weston Foundation)
Brandei Estes (Director, Head of Photographs, Sotheby's)
Rhian Harris (Director, Lakeland Arts)
Chili Hawes & Elisabeth Lalouschek (Directors, October Gallery)
